My person Thomas Jefferson. He wrote the Declaration of Independence. But the strange thing is that he poblished it on the day he died! And also the other man who wrote the Declaration of Independence was John Adams and he died the same day Thomas Jefferson did! But thats who we got the Declaration of Indedpendence, is from mostly Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.

My person Caesar was very active in Delaware's government. He was at one point a sheriff of Kent County, and attended the first and second Continental Congress. After a year Caesar Rodney rides to Philadelphia to sign the DEclaration of independence. He was then promoted to major geneeral in the Revolutionary War and elected president of Delaware.

I did Thomas Paine (who was also an author) and he is one of those great Americans who just loved the idea of independence. He wrote many books and pamphlets on freedom from England.
