What books have your famous authors written? Have you read any of them? Were they any good?
My person is J.K. Rowling. She is a great inspiration to young people around the world. She was actually on welfare (money from the gov't) when she wrote the first Harry Potter book.
My biography is about Gary Paulsen a famous Author and a not-so-famous explorer who explored lots of cool places and ate lots of interesting things (likes guts). Some of the books he's made I've read (like Hatchet) which is a really good book and other books like the Brian books (which i havent read)
Jo wrote on napkins in Nicholson cafe with her baby jessica sleeping. She had married a man from Portugal and gotten pregnant but they divorced in a matter of weeks. Now she has a new husband and three kids, including jessica.
After her divorce, she was in a downward slope for years. But she stayed true to her dream of becoming a writer and wrote the Harry Potter books and became the secong richest female entertainer in the world.
Researching J.K. Rowling was easier on the internet than in the library. She is very new in the entertaining world so books were not updated. Also, on the internet there were many sites about Harry Potter which was distracting.
Well, J.K. Rowling came up with the name potter because her childhood friend;s last name was potter which is interesting. Also, she imagined the whole story on a train to manchester.
My famous Author is Firoozeh Dumas. She is the first Iranian author to publish a book. She has written 2 books about events that has occured in her childhood. Also all of the events that has happened in her life into a funny exciting moment.
My person is R.L.stine he is a famous author that writes goosebumps and scary stories. Since he was a kid he loved to write scary stories and then share them with his little brother. He also likes to leave the ends of his stories a mystery like when he tells his little brother the stories he made up he would always never tell him the end of the story so that it leaves him wondering. R.L. stine makes movies to but the movies are based on his books.
my arthor is tonya Bolden she has written the book And Not Arfaid To Dare which is the book that I have been researching and reading.This book was very inspriration and feally infromation about what happenend and what slves and normal people went through back then.

I enjoy reading the Harry Potter series i think it has much suspense and very enjoyable to read. I also agree with S.leite because it does inspire young people around the world to read J.K. Rowling's books.
Tonya Bolden's book And Not Afraid To Dare is really the only book of hers I ever read and im not sure if she has made any other books. Tonya was inspired to write a book about slaves who are all women because she thinks that black women are not getting recognized for what they have been through.
my person was Ji-Li Jiang, an chinese author, wrote about her experiances going through the cultral revolution in china in, Red scarf girl. Then wrote anther book called, Tales of the monkey king, which told the adventures of the monkey king. She is a good author. You should read some of her books.:)
Anne Frank may not be considered an author, but she is to me. When ever she needed to, she would release her feelings and opinions by writing them down in her diary. She would write about her parents fighting and how she thought that the situation all the Jews were in would end. After she died in the winter of 1945, her father found a publisher that wanted to publish her diary.
Even though this is a book unknown to mostly everyone, its a book by Avi and its called Perloo The Bold. This book is about a rabbit who gets called by his best friend as she is dying. From what I can remember he was asked to be the head leader for a war against these half wolf half tiger things. He ended up trapped in a prison by the dying friend's power hungry jealous rabbit son. When Perloo gets out of jail he forms an army and defeats the half wolf half tiger things.
My person is Thomas paine, a famous author and revolutionary. He lived a rough life as a young man, but moved into the usa and turned into the revolutionary he is known to be. He wrote common sense, age of reason, and the answer to Americas French revolution.
My person is someone froim another country, his name is Da Chen. He lived in China during the Cultural Revolution. After that ended he moved to America and graduated from Columbia University Law School.He also plays the classical bamboo flute.

I have read all the Harry Potter books and I absolutely love them all
The last two, Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, are my favorites.
how many of the movies have you seen?
Some books my author have written has been "Things That Sometimes Happen","Something Upstairs" and no i haven't read any of his books.
What special challenges did Avi overcome?
I have seen all the movies but the books are far better in my opinion. Jo did a great job with the detail of the scenes.

I have read Hatchet for school. He's pretty good at relating to the outdoors. I guess that's from his explorations.
My author is Avi Wortis sense he was a young boy he had a learning disability called dysgraphia. Which is a disabilibity that has a writing difficult.

Well I've seen the Harry Potter movies and read the books but the books have more details than the movies can fit into 2 hours
